You will be responsible for conducting the full life cycle of digital forensics investigations and helping develop the organisations cyber capabilities. RESPONSIBILITIES OF A SENIOR DIGITAL FORENSICS CONSULTANT:
- Conduct digital forensics acquisition and analysis across a variety of hardware devices
- Carry out forensics evidence preservation activity from a variety of digital sources for clients
- Act as a SME for clients and stakeholders
- Perform deep analysis of evidence gathered from digital sources and present to clients in an understandable format
- Lead digital forensics investigations from start to finish for a variety of clients
- Carry out research and testing of new devices which are more niche
- Support the technical development and growth of junior consultants within the team
- Create documentation for the preservation and analysis of new digital sources
REQUIREMENTS OF A SENIOR DIGITAL FORENSICS CONSULTANT:
- Previous experience working at a consultancy
- Previous experience carrying out digital forensics investigations independently
- 3+ years’ experience in a cyber security role (preferably digital forensics)
- Knowledgeable regarding modern practices in digital forensics
- Familiar with popular enterprise security technologies
- Have hands on experience with a range of forensics tools
