Head of Cyber Security
Remote (must be UK based)
£80K – £90K
A powerhouse in the renewable energy industry (pun intended) is looking for a head of cyber security / IT security to help them build out a new security function.
An incredible greenfield opportunity to work closely with the CISO and CIO to really put your own stamp on security and build a team, getting involved in everything from strategy, infosec policies and frameworks, to security incidents and cloud migration.
Responsibilities of a Head of Cyber Security / IT Security
- Resolution of security incidents and implementing response strategies
- Overall security strategy including data governance, infrastructure, architecture, etc.
- Support cloud architecture migrations in the future
Requirements of a Head of Cyber Security / IT Security
- Experience within a technical security space and ability/willing to be hands on for the first stages of building.
- Experience and understanding of Security risks and how to communicate mitigation plans.
- Working knowledge of key frameworks such as GDPS, ISO27001 and NIST
- A passion for Cyber and an eagerness to build something from the ground up.
- Business mindset and ability to apply that to security decisions.
