Rapidly growing VAR is currently looking for an experienced IT Sales Account Manager for an excellent opportunity to joining an expanding team at a niche yet, leading IT reseller. This role is looking for someone with a tech or security background from a similar industry, with a solid contact book and in return they will provide you with training in their services that you currently don’t know PLUS highly competitive salary with genuinely uncapped commission, earning 20% commission from the very pound with opportunities to earn 30%.
You must have proven experience specifically within an IT reseller account manager / business development role and have been accountable for the full sales cycle, from sourcing and lead generation through to closing the sale and then ongoing account management.
- Account Management either in the office or from home and via face to face client meetings.
- New business development: cold calling, Lead generation, email marketing, networking
- Pro-actively following up opportunities to close deals
- Hitting and exceeding achievable targets
Skills / Experience required:
- A proven track record gained within the IT hardware, software or services sector.
- Passion, drive and willingness to build your own client base whilst developing existing accounts.
- Ability to learn and develop with a desire to enhance your skills
- The ability to communicate with clarity, both written and verbal.
- Persuasive by nature and capable of working pro-actively
- The ability to build rapport with existing and new clients.
