Job Description – Sales Engineer (SaaS)
£35k- £50k (£80K ote) – Training and Excellent Career Progression
An award-winning US based Email Security Vendor is looking for an ambitious and talented Sales Engineer with 1 – 5yrs experience, and a great track record in technical sales to join their UK team and help them grow their business throughout the UK and EMEA region. This is considered a critical hire and should be viewed as a career-defining move for a sales engineer at this stage of their professional development.
In a unified drive to expand the business and grow the customer base throughout the region, you’ll report directly to the field CTO and provide valuable support to the Snr Sales Engineer, you’ll have the opportunity, and indeed be expected to generate sales forecasts, contribute to, and influence the strategic sales planning process. You’ll investigate and understand a potential customer’s business needs, present your POC and POV criteria and progress these opportunities through the sales process to closure.
As the Sales Engineer you’ll regularly be the first point of contact for existing and potential customers and as such you’ll be expected to maintain technical relationships and use your exceptional language skills to ensure all issues are handled in a consultative manner.

What You’ll Need:
- 1 – 5yrs Direct or Indirect Technical Sales experience
- Experience selling SaaS
- An understanding of complex POC and POV
- Excellent communication and customer relation skills
