My client is an Established Cyber Security Intelligence Consultancy based in London and they’re looking for a Developer to join the team responsible for working on the evolution and creation of new and existing cyber applications / products which support their Cyber Security Services

You’ll get the chance to work both autonomously as well as collaborating with various Cyber teams providing and implementing suitable application development support. You’ll get to draw upon the full range of your technical skills, enjoying the varied nature of the work as well as advancing your skill set across a range of technology.
The ideal candidate will have experience in at least one high-level programming language (Python or Ruby) along with some low-level programming language experience.  As they are a consultancy the nature of the work will vary, therefore experience in multiple development languages is a huge plus.  A strong understanding of secure development practises is also highly desired.

  • You’ll be involved in developing the scripts, tools and products that support the company’s incident response, forensics and cyber security services
  • Maintain and identify software development initiatives, through liaising and consulting with the team members
  • Develop scripts to parse and interrogate data stored with custom tools
  • Building infrastructure in the Cloud (Azure) and on-prem to drive development initiatives forward
  • Depending on you level of experience – assist in training and supporting team members within software / application development


  • Experience & exposure to internal application development (configuring and maintaining infrastructure)
  • Strong development and/or scripting experience in high-level languages (Python or Ruby), along with software design experience
  • Azure, VMWare Hypervisors using vSphere
  • Systems admin using Windows and Linux (web proxies)
  • Essential to have experience with backend databases such as PostgresSQL, MariaDB or Elastic/Lucene indexes
