Senior Manager level Cyber advisory role for a US cyber services firm that has just secured PE funding.
You will be joining a firm that focuses on providing Cyber Advisory & Security operations services to mid-tier clients across all verticals.
This is a leadership role working closely with the CTO & CIO in a client facing advisory capacity.
Role of the Senior Manager – Cyber Advisory
The role will have 3 main functions
- Act as a Trusted Advisor across security, cloud, and data for current and prospective clients; this will include conducting risk assessments on a customer’s security posture & recommending a roadmap for security hardening, advising on frameworks such as NIST CSF, CIS, ISO 27001, zero-trust architecture, facilitating workshops for executive and technical audiences that move clients from reactive to proactive security & translating cloud and data context across AWS, Azure, and GCP into client-ready security outcomes
- Contribute to the growth of the client base & retention of the existing customers. While this role will not carry a sales quota, you will be responsible for and incentivised around the growth of the client book so should be comfortable cross selling cyber advisory services, MDR, managed EDR and XDR, vulnerability management, threat hunting, and identity threat detection and response
- Workshop with clients to help them take a proactive approach to managing their security posture, acting as a thought leader by sharing points of view and expertise in client meetings, industry events & workshops
